Alex brings over a decade of diverse management experience to the brand.
He commenced duties for The Perfect Mound in 2013 while working in professional baseball operations for the Gateway Grizzlies (Frontier League Organization of the Year, 2014). While acting AGM for the club, Wilson helped foster TPM brand direction, product development and sports turf best practices before taking a more focused administrative role in the company.
His background includes various marketing and development roles within the ECE Family Office, FleishmanHillard, professional baseball, universities and private ventures. He has been cited in the Wall Street Journal and recognized for his contributions to sport by the Sports Business Journal. He also contributed to The Perfect Mound receiving the STMA, SFMA 2018 Innovative Award for safety.
Alex continues to freelance design and tutor. He is fluent in Adobe CS. Academically he holds a BA in Communications & Business Management from Greenville University and an MBA, Corporate Communications from Lindenwood University.
Originally from Seattle, WA, he has spent most of his life in western Kansas and Colorado. He, his wife Tierney and their dog Snirt enjoy travel, art, food and sports.
